Pelican Nebula

Believe it or not, I didn’t use any filters in these Pelican Nebula images with the ZWO ASI2600mc-pro and the Hyperstar. I extracted each channel from the one shot color camera image and combined the channels to mimic the HST palette.

To the rear of the eye is Herbig-Haro 555 which is a jet of matter and partially ionized gas ejected by newborn stars. I cropped it heavily in the second set of images to show it better.

Geez. Its like Hubble on earth. There is so much detail there. I can't believe you are getting that from your backyard. Very good work! You need to collect all your studies and publish them in a book. An inspiration to all of us backyard astronomers.
