Comet C/2020 F3 NEOWISE is now an evening comet putting on a great show after sunset. At my location, Upstate New York, at Latitude 44, I find the prime time to image and view the comet to be between 10:00pm and 11:30 PM with the comet getting higher in the evening sky each day. I estimated the tail to be visual approximately 20 degrees in length under a dark sky. In the image, you can see the tail stretching through the clouds and a faint hint of the ion tail.
I used my new Rokinon F2.8 14mm lens for this wide field shot. It’s a single image through my Canon 5Ti on the iOptron SkyGuider Pro. I used a single two minute exposure at ISO 800.
